Philippa Weitz MSc BEd. is Managing Director of Philippa Weitz Training Ltd.
She is a psychological counsellor and trainer and a qualified teacher with a French degree. Her experience include 13 years as a conference organiser and workshop trainer.
Her special interests are bereavement and counselling in general practice. She is a passionate believer in high standards in clinical practice and has devoted much of her career lobbying for improved standards of training and practice.
She is Executive Director of The Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Forum for Primary Care and a Trustee for the children and family charity ADDISS, and UK Co-ordinator, The Bereavement Project, Sangath Child and Family Centre, Goa, South India. She has most recently been apppointed Commissioning Editor for Karnac Books, with a remit for psychiatry, mental health and primary care.
She is also a Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Brighton and Hove Breakfast.
